Shipping & Delivery
IMPORTANT NOTICE -
The Royal Mail are working hard to deliver all orders to all our customers, large and small. The combination of greatly increased uptake of online shopping, and the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions (Lockdown), mean that all delivery companies are experiencing exceptionally high volumes.
Despite the Royal Mail's best efforts some of our customers may experience slightly longer delivery timescales than usual. This is due to the exceptionally high volumes the Royal Mail are seeing, exacerbated by the coronavirus-related measures they have put in place in local mail centres and delivery offices.
Gymnastics Express offer FREE tracked standard shipping on orders £49.99 and over. This applies to UK mainland addresses only, including the Isle of Man for small Royal Mail sized packages.
Orders are picked and dispatched, weekdays at 2pm. This means that orders placed after 2pm will leave the following weekday morning.
- Standard Post – (averages 2-3 working days after dispatch, UK Mainland) £3.95
- Budget "No Hurry" Post - (averages 5+ working days after dispatch, UK Mainland only) £1.95
- First Class Post – (averages 1-2 working days after dispatch, UK Mainland) £5.95
- Guaranteed Next Working Day – Tracked & Signed for (Monday-Thursday, UK Mainland) £9.95
- Guaranteed Saturday Next Day – Tracked & Signed for (Friday, UK Mainland) £14.95
“Next Working Day” is Monday – Thursday, a Post Office decision. Orders placed after 2pm will not leave that day.
"Saturday Next Day" is a postal option to be chosen on a Friday (before 2pm), to be delivered on Saturday.
With both "next day" options, items that aren’t signed for will be taken away by Royal Mail and held at your local sorting office - someone will need to be there to sign for your package.
If you choose a "Next Day" or "Saturday Next Day" option on a non-applicable day (i.e. "Next Day" on a Friday or "Saturday Next Day" on a Sunday) - your order will be sent "Next Day" on the next applicable day.
Leotards and Gymwear
All leotards (and matching scrunchies) will be dispatched separately from your other order items. Leotards are sent first or second class, depending on the option you choose at checkout. If you choose "Next Day delivery", your other order items will be sent out "Next Day" but your leotard will follow at "first class".
How much do you charge for international shipping?
Prices for International Shipping are calculated individually at checkout. These prices are the best guess Royal Mail can estimate at this stage, but we may need to come back to you if your delivery requires an amendment. Some countries have a surcharge, and some of our items may have an additional charge due to size, weight or content.
Free shipping on orders of £49.99 or more, doesn’t apply to non-UK mainland deliveries (except Isle of Man for small Royal Mail sized packages).
For international deliveries, someone will need to be there to sign for the package.
We offer a "standard international" post, and an "expediated tracked and signed for" option.
When will it leave/arrive?
We are a fast and efficient company. We dispatch at 2pm on weekdays, any orders placed after this time will leave the following weekday morning.
Any form of “Next Day Delivery” option needs to be placed by noon that day, to be sure of dispatch.
At busy times, or if an item is out of stock, we may not be able to dispatch in our usual swift manner, but we will notify you of any delays. This is sometimes the case with large bulk orders, as it may take more time to fulfill. We will need your confirmation if you still want, and are willing to pay for, next day or other special services.
Availability is only guaranteed while stocks last. If your order is urgent, or for a special occasion, please tell us the “must have by date” and we will do everything possible to meet your requirements.
We choose select courier partners to try to guarantee the best results but, as with all online retailers, there will be the occasional issue and delay. We find this is a very rare issue and we always look to rectify any problems.
