The Manique Unique Grips Family
Manique Unique Minis are the latest addition to the Manique Grip family. These small handguards are designed to bridge the gap for young gymnasts from Palm Guards to full Manique Unique grips. Some gymnasts may choose to bypass Minis and go from Palm Guards to Manique Unique and some may choose to use Minis from the start, never using Palm Guards at all, these decisions should be made in conjunction with your coach.
Minis are specially designed for smaller, beginner and for some intermediate gymnasts, featuring our exclusive, soft, grey "Comfort Leather".
Manique Unique
Outside of the Mini range, Manique Unique handguards come in two types, WIDE and SLIM.
We're proud that elite gymnasts and coaches consider The Manique Unique guards to be the best on the market. These elite grips are designed and manufactured to the highest specifications from the finest leathers and materials. Featuring incredibly strong and durable grip, excellent fastenings and fit as well as a comfortable feel due to our exclusive, soft, grey "Comfort Leather".
As with the Mini range, Manique Unique grips benefit from our Rainbow Range straps. This means you can choose quick-removable straps from a range of thirteen different colours. It's no wonder that many of the top gymnasts in the world choose to perform in Manique Unique guards!

These WIDE grips are a very similar design to our SLIM range. They feature the same great design and high quality materials, but feature a slightly wider palm piece (in size not depth). Some gymnasts prefer this extra contact with the bar and the feel it gives.
If you're unsure which you might prefer, you should talk to your coach and you can always contact us.
These SLIM grips are extremely similar to our WIDE Manique Unique grips. They are an elite design with highly skilled manufacturing from top materials, but feature a slightly slimmer palm piece (in size not depth). Some gymnasts choose the SLIM due to it offering slightly less resistance with the bar and the feels it gives.
